A Place to Be Heard and Valued
When Kripali came across an opening for a Project Manager at 17³Ô¹ÏÍø, she knew that 17³Ô¹ÏÍø was the place for her. Delving into the work we do to break down barriers to international education, Kripali “realized the great passion that the 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Co-Founders have for educating the world.†She shared that “it truly inspired and intrigued me, and I really wanted to join the 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Team.â€Ìý
Asked what’s the biggest misconception about Project Managers, Kripali says that there’s a belief that they merely deal with follow-ups. However, her work touches on all aspects of a project, including allocating resources, budgets, and deliverables; setting objectives and goals; assessing risks and challenges; and much more. Although she isn’t in an external customer-facing role, she shared “that the projects that I deliver and my collaborations with different teams enable us to get a step closer to bringing the accessibility of education to students. And I believe that is my little contribution.â€
Now that Kripali’s been on the team for a year and a half, she’s had the opportunity to gauge our unique company culture and how it feels to be an 17³Ô¹ÏÍøian. Kripali has worked at a number of different companies throughout her career. When asked what separates 17³Ô¹ÏÍø from her previous employers, she responded, “what stands out about 17³Ô¹ÏÍø is that we are empowered to do our best and our opinions are heard and valued.â€

A Place to Innovate and ImproveÌý
When asked which of 17³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s core values resonates most with Kripali, she responded without hesitation: Innovating and Improving. She says that “a little effort and being mindful of bringing the best out of us can help improve an existing process or create something new altogether.â€Ìý
17³Ô¹ÏÍøians believe in empowering each other to challenge the status quo, take risks, and learn from our mistakes. This means showing up to work curious and ready to challenge yourself and others to dig deeper. Kripali’s commitment to pushing the boundaries and always striving to be better is what makes her an amazing Project Manager and leader.Ìý
Her dedication to Innovating and Improving is reflected in how Kripali recently managed a project that has helped to streamline the application process and improve our customer experience for students, recruitment partners, and partner institutions. She explained that “it was a huge deal since it involved multiple cross-functional teams and it lasted over nine months. At the end of it, we were able to deliver an improved process and A+ customer experience for all of our stakeholders.â€Ìý
We commend Kripali’s commitment to thinking outside of the box to come up with new ways to get work done effectively.Ìý17³Ô¹ÏÍø wouldn’t be where we are today without team members like Kripali. Her work ethic, positive attitude, and leadership are an inspiration to us all!
